Wednesday, February 4, 2009. With SuperCrit Thursday now finished for the season, the organisers would like to thank all the riders and supporters who raced hard and enjoyed the longer crits. In particular we would like to thank the commissaires, officials and volunteers who made this racing happen, and of course a big thankyou to Greg Long for all his magnificant photos that really captured every grimace, strain and bead of sweat. According to the Public Service Enterprise Agreement, I should have been confined for the 6 weeks before my due date, but I was given approval to stay at work for another 3 weeks, with the blessing of my doctor and the relief of my supervisor!
